Stash ("we," "our," or "the app") is a note-taking and reminder application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about data collection.

1. Data We Collect

a) Google Drive Backup Data

  • When you use the backup feature, your notes and reminders are stored in your personal Google Drive account
  • Data is stored in the .appdata folder, which is private and only accessible by our app
  • We do not have access to, store, or transmit your backup data on our servers
  • All backup data remains in your Google Drive under your control

b) Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

  • Google AdMob collects advertising identifiers and device information
  • This data is used to display personalized ads
  • You can opt-out of personalized ads in your device settings

c) Purchase Data (RevenueCat)

  • In-app purchase transaction information
  • Purchase history and subscription status
  • This data is processed by RevenueCat to manage subscriptions

2. Permissions We Request

  • Internet Access: Required for Google Drive sync and displaying ads
  • Camera: Optional, only used when you choose to add photos to notes
  • Notifications: Optional, for backup reminders
  • Storage Access: For local backup/restore functionality

3. Data We DO NOT Collect

  • We do not read, access, or store your notes content on our servers
  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • We do not track your location
